How strange and wonderful it is to be dancing with a partner who isn’t ‘there’. Of course this is not any kind of formal dance with given moves and choreography! Rather it is a co-existence of free individuals exercising our duty to ourselves to express ourselves as exuberantly (or otherwise) as we feel, with a mind to being sensitive as to how we might impact on others, or how we might frame, flatter, enable, encourage or even embolden them.

It’s a question of being a complete unit in oneself and also being a puzzle-piece in a bigger jigsaw. I do see a fascinating kind of social model in this. It’s in the mix that more radical possibilities emerge - the chance for an anti-Darwinian suppression of the large and domineering in favour of small and delicate things; not as a rule but for the joy of favouring possibility over probability … at least some of the time. The communication and feedback process is staggered in time over the various iterations of the project, closer in spirit to a collaboration by ‘snail-mail’ in a pre-internet world. We only hear the results of our collective efforts a little further down the timeline which goes on to inform the next iteration.The adventure continues to unfold.
