Maintenant je sais que nous avons 1h de plus en France, fuseau horaire. La pleine lune à débuter en France vers 14h et Babicha a eu une réaction inhabituel; Je l'ai donc enregistré et ensuite fait une boucle de son ronronnement pour m'aider à me concentrer dans la soirée, pour travailler en direct sur le morceau. J'ai juste utilisé mon micro. Je frottai le micro sur moi (mon pull ou mon pantalon car les sons étaient différents), c'était des mouvements assez hypnotiques pour me mettre en condition avec le ronronnement de mon chat.
Comme il était tard, j'était fatiguée et je n'ai pas pu aller plus loin que 10min d'enregistrement. Je ne sais pas si les images mentales que j'ai envoyées ont étaient perçues. Lumière blanche protectrice.

For those curious to know, I used a semi-modular analogue synthesizer (Neutron by Behringer) & no-input mixer (the 2 systems are interconnected in order to generate different kind of feedback loops & glitchy artefacts) + prepared electric guitar (and malfunctioning cable which caused sporadic buzzes and silences that I tried to integrate / use in a musical way)

The recording was made last night (13.11.2019) between 1 and 2 hours am (Moscow time-zone), what, I hope, correlates with 22-23 pm. Irish time-zone previous evening (12.11.2019). I made two pictures of my accidental studio - before and after the session :-).

I could hear cows howling whole night ...
Set up: stereo-microphones placed outside of studio picking up sounds from surroundings. Amplified mirror-mirror with objects, room-ambient microphones + ultrasonic detector, hole-less flute koncovka, elekwa (=4 string fret-less electric guitar with effects), talking drum, emf-detector picking up wire-radio and stroboscopes. Analogue guitar synthesizer Korg triggered via plastic sheet with attached contact-microphone (designed by Sala = thanks!) and electric fan.

tENTATIVELY a cONVENIENCE: I hope you enjoy it. I tried to do something different. The instrumentation for this one is: "Lost in Translation Magic Square" mini-disc shuffle Korg Volca Sampler (newly purchased, never used before), Mixer/Sampler

"subjective mix" = mixing together all contributions in sort of "democratic" way, trying that each participants are being heard by altering solely volume and balance of each recording, attempting to conserve and respect the original dynamics and architecture of recordings as much is possible. Obviously, this is not an easy task and some individual sounds are being not heard, especially those of delicate nature. This can be remedied by publishing these individual tracks which might need closer attention as well as possibility to
be re-mixed by another member of uni.Sol_ if desired to create another perspective either as alternative mix or selective mix.

"as it is" = as it was recorded and mixed together without any modifications of individual tracks (regardless of distortions and some sounds being inevitably drowned) which might show us general energetic and aural outline as the idea of "one sound" …
