loop-key-formula strategy used during solstice 06212019

I intended as this loop will surface in moments of need and will
"emotionally vibrate" for longer period. In the final mix can be also
continuously manipulated by EQ and other filters e.g. more in high
frequency end gives us possibility to shift "loop" in the background
etc. The sound is result of 1 hour long effort to play on little cymbal
with holes Istanbul XIST.

To be able to record also the resonance I was mic'ing very closely (from approx. 3 cm of distance) and I played the surface softly with a thin welding wire, which is basically opposite this cymbal is usually being used. Then I edited the selected parts and processed in the way what seems to me the most fitting. When I was recording I was trying to visualize ”internally listen" what the other participants might be playing. For this edition I picked high frequency range to merge with the whole uni.Sol_ organism.

The cymbal sounds like enormous, when recorded this way - comparable taking macro-photograph of insect, which looks then like giant "monster". Of course, there is always the question if you manage to succeed fit in the whole society of sounds? This is one of the main reasons why it is so interesting to participate in this unique project.
